PGA SWEDEN LAKES & LINKS COURSES
In 2010 Lakes Course PGA of Sweden National was inaugurated by the current European Tour winner Peter Hanson and golf course architect Kyle Phillips. The course was fully opened to the public short time later. Here the player faces typical creeping bent grasses, small greens, more water hazards and large bunkers. The course has been built with the most modern methods and completely in harmony with nature. Right from the opening, the Lakes Course is a terrific test of golf and thoroughly examines the best of quality players.
The Links Course of PGA of Sweden National is a classic 18 hole championship course created in tandem with nature. The course has the typical characteristics of links golf with large undulating greens and numerous small deep bunkers. The greens are built on a bed of sand then shaped to liken the soft sand dunes of a typical Scottish links course. The grass specification for the links course is a fescue blend, providing the playing characteristics typical to links courses.
