Troia Golf Championship Course is located on the Troia Peninsula, a long a flat and sandy stretch of land across the Sado Estuary. Designed by the American golf architect Trent Jones sen,TROIA GOLF was elected one of the best golf courses in world by Rolex in 2011, and now features in the guide The Rolex World’s Top 1.000 Golf Courses. Robert Trent Jones selected the 3^rd hole as one of the best holes that he has ever designed. The third hole is described as a hole that fits perfectly into the landscaping with a magnificent sea view.
