PADOVA GOLF CLUB

Of all the golf courses in Veneto you must not miss the Padua Golf Club situated in Valsanzibio, at the feet of the Euganean Hills, near to the 17th century Villa Barbarigo. Built in 1960 to the design of English architect John Harris, the course stretches over an area of 70 hectares, with a series of obstacles carefully designed to make the game more gripping. The course is made up of 27 holes with 72 par and a lengths of 6,053 metres, and winds through a park with over 8,000 trees and bushes which perfectly fits in with the surrounding countryside. Predominantly level, but extremely varied and very technical, the course has a series of obstacles (canals, small lakes and bunkers) that make the game more difficult.
