The double 18-hole course of the Circolo Golf Bogogno, which was built in 1996, is characterised by many water hazards and several slopes. The architect Robert von Hagge designed for the Circolo di Bogogno two extraordinary par-72, 18-hole golf courses which combine technique, beauty and personality. The design of the Del Conte course is reminiscent of a links course with wide open spaces and various flattish areas as well as large lakes while the outer areas are framed by the peaks of Monte Rosa. The livelier Bonora course reminds of a parkland course as it spreads over a vast hilly area surrounded by untamed nature with the kind of pristine streams and woods that are typical of the Ticino Nature Park.
