Poggio dei Medici Golf Club with its 18 hole, par 73, championship course with a length of 6,468 meters, designed by architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti by the Professional Fiorentino Baldwin Dassù is one of the most prestigious in Italy. It its opening in 1992, Poggio dei Medici was recognized as “Best New Field” and has since been consistently among the Best Fields of Italy in the ranking of The World of Golf. Around the location, nestled in the green Mugello valley protected by the Apennines, offers a favorable climate and beautiful landscapes. The course is suitable for players of all levels and has been home to championship golf international: 5 Italian Open Championship 1 Open Alps Tour and 3 Open the European Challenge Tour.
