GOLF CLUB SANKT LEON ROT
Both courses are in delightful and tangible harmony with nature. The Rot course, a 6,587-metre parkland layout integrated into a charming river meadow landscape, provides a top-level golfing challenge set within a natural environment. This course hosted the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open on the European Tour three times, with Tiger Woods victorious on each occasion.
The St Leon course, opened in 2000, is just over 6,500 metres long and designed in a links style by British architect Dave Thomas. Numerous water hazards, artistically shaped bunkers and an island fairway, all constructed on a sandy sub-soil, combine to require long and precise play. The Club philosophy is shaped by innovation and customer service. The course was recently Host Venue for the 2015 Solheim Cup.
