Faldo designed Angkor Golf Resort is by far the best golf course in Cambodia. The six-time main winner, Nick Faldo himself, received his blessing from local monks and opened the golf course in December 2007, his first golf course in Cambodia. The Angkor Golf Resort puts Cambodia directly on the international map of golf destinations. The Angkor golf course is a fair test for all players and requires strategy and the right choice of club at each hole in order to score well. For example, the strategically placed bunkers and water hazards are tricky, but easily recognizable from every tee. The greens have many subtle waves, and they reward and encourage a variety of approach shots. In addition, different teeing grounds enable both low and mid-handicappers to choose the right track length for their game.
