PHOKEETHRA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

The Phokeethra Country Club managed by Sofitel is one of the best places in Cambodia. The Johnnie Walker Classic 2009 and the Cambodian Open 2010 took place on the golf course. The location is perfect for golfers in Cambodia as it is close to Siem Reap International Airport. The course itself reflects a lot to do with Cambodian culture and history. For example, between the 9th green and the 10th tee there is a restored Roluh bridge, which also serves as a symbol for the logo of the square and dates back to the Khmer Empire of the 11th century. Wide fairways and generous greens still give the Cambodia Golf Club an unmistakable layout and feeling. Natural lagoons and sand bunkers run through the course and challenge every hole.
