MEADOW VALLEY

Among Kohler’s four championship golf courses, the general consensus seems to be the Meadow Valleys course is the easiest of the bunch. But when all four courses are designed by Pete Dye, “easy” is far from accurate. Landing zones on many holes are a little easier to find here than its higher-profile neighbour the River course, but there are still plenty of challenges, especially on the par-3s. On the 15th, you must carry 190-220 yards over a ravine to a shallow green depending on if you’re on the blue or black tees. Then the 18th is one of Kohler’s prettiest holes, playing along the Cheboygan river and then over it to a green that sits below the large, cabin clubhouse.
