St Andrews Jubilee Golf Course

The third championship course at the Home of Golf, the Jubilee is considered by many to be the most challenging course on the famous Links. Built in 1897, it was originally intended for use by ladies and beginners; however, after seeing its prime golfing location between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was converted to a championship layout in 1988.

Cameron House has been established for over 25 years & has been at the forefront of providing high quality guest accommodation of golfers & visitors. St Andrew’s town boasts a range of restaurants, bars & shops, & of course, is world famous for it golfing facilities.

St Andrews Old Course

The world famous Old Course is a classic links course. Here golf began 600 years ago, on public land, to which everyone can have access. The name of the architect is unknown but mother-nature has shaped this magnificent piece of land over the centuries. You will experience famous features along the way such as the enormous Hell bunker, the Road Hole, site of so many famous Open Championship moments, and the Swilken Bridge. Finally in the shadow of the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse when your ball drops in the last hole, you belong to the luckiest golfer on the planet who have finished the pilgrimage to St. Andrews successfully.

Carnoustie Golf Links

Carnoustie Golf Links is one of the strongest links course designs in Scotland. A round at Carnoustie tests every aspect of a golfer’s game, and any lapse in concentration destroys the scorecard. The course is most commonly known for Jean van de Velde’s self destruction during the 1999 Open Championship and the extremely difficult course setup that same year, which led to a +6 winning score. As time passes and Carnoustie becomes distanced from those events, hopefully the course will become less known for its penal past, and better known for its great design.

Kingsbarns Golf Course

Kingsbarns is only 6 miles from St. Andrews. With its true links turf, contoured rolling fairways and majestic vistas of the sea this course is already considered to be a classic. The sea plays an integral role in the course design and the sandy dunes also feature prominently in enhancing the course landscape. As Sir Michael Bonallack  remarks – “Kingsbarns might well be one of the last true seaside links sites capable of development in Scotland. It is an extraordinary setting”.

Turnberry Ailsa Golf Course

This piece of land with the Ailsa Golf Course inspired local Scots to play the game. Imagine rolling hills, sandy dunes and a breeze from the Ayrshire coast, this this the character of Turnberry’s Ailsa, which needed no designer only nature to manicure the landscape. The duel between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson during the Open 1977 highlighted Turnberry’s claim to be among the best of the links courses. Length is not everything. A true seaside course requires imagination, a golfer who can work the ball both ways and a deadly short game. Age is only a number on a wonderful course such as the Ailsa.

Prestwick Golf Club

Old Prestwick Golf Club is a very well established links Championship course with undulating fairways and lush greens. It is a very traditional club that is very friendly and provides a welcome Scottish hospitality to the many visitors who choose to play this lovely course.
